Meet Natasha Carrizosa poet, writer, and speaker. Her work is deeply rooted in her childhood and life experiences. Raised as the daughter of a fierce African-American mother and Mexican father, her writing reflects the dichotomy of these two rich cultures. She is author of mexiafricana, heavy light, and crown.
Part 1
Her work has recently been published in ¡Manteca! – an anthology of Afro-Latino poets and R2: The Rice Review (Rice University.) She has performed her work and conducted workshops for audiences in Madrid, Paris, St. Lucia, New York, Chicago, Houston and countless other cities.
Her love for the arts inspired the creation of natty roots & rhyme – one of the most dynamic poetry open mics in the country.

Bethany Rose is a fast-rising Los Angeles based singer, songwriter and piano player. One unique feature about Bethany is that she composes and sings in both English and Spanish. She draws her inspiration from R&B and gospel music as she grew up listening to some key singers in that regard. Bethany gives her music a distinct blend by adding elements of Latin instrumentation and jazz.

Climbing the ladder of her career, Bethany has performed
alongside notable artists such as Lupe Fiasco, Leo Dan, Yolanda Adams, Dionne
Warwick, Mary J. Blige, Guy Sebastian, Amber Riley, Jessica Sanchez, Kristin
Chenoweth, Chris Mann, Jordan Smith, and a host of others. She has indulged in
a number of vocal recordings as a contributory artist in musical acts such as
Childish Gambino’s “Awaken My Love” and TV shows such as “Army Wives” and
“Glee”.
In her recent musical involvement, she teamed up with Ivan Castro who is a Los Angeles based producer to revamp her original R&B song, “Goodbye” by creating the salsa version. The revamping of this song has given it some soulful features coupled with a modern feel. The “Goodbye” song was originally released in December, 2018 as it was available for worldwide distribution. Bethany plans a release of her debut EP Album which will be due for release in 2019.
Big X is a speed rapper born in Houston raised in Maryland. His rap idols were Tech N9ne, Chamillionaire and Joyner Lucas. Big X’s rhymes consist of speed but does not contain profanity so he can set an example for his younger siblings. His mission – show them that anything is possible if you put your mind to it.

Midnight Navy is a producer, saxophonist, and singer-songwriter based in Austin, Texas. His unique musical lens draws from his Mexican heritage, along with his love for pop culture and feel good melodies.
Born and raised by Mexican parents in Corpus Christi, Texas, Midnight Navy is driven by everyday novelties, cultures, landscapes, and people. At the age of 14, he relocated to Phoenix, Arizona where he continued developing his musical taste. With those experiences, his affinity for music grew drastically as he taught himself to produce and sing on his own records. After a few years of experimenting with different sounds and musical ideologies, the moniker ‘Midnight Navy’ was created in late 2016. Two years later, Midnight Navy’s self-titled EP was released as a deep dive into his new experiences moving back to his home state of Texas.
